Spiders and Cobwebs Galore at Greyfriars

During restoration works at Greyfriars, our team has uncovered more than just the incredible history of this medieval friary. The building has stood for centuries, and with that comes a few of nature’s residents — spiders and their cobwebs! These unexpected finds remind us that Greyfriars has been home to all sorts of life over the years, from friars and scholars to the smallest of creatures.

As conservation continues, we’re carefully restoring the building while respecting its past — cobwebs and all.
